Today we had a parade to celebrate the end of Literacy Week.  There was an amazing selection of costumes.  Everyone was very creative.

Today Tait's grandad and Bodhi's grandma came and read to our class.  The stories rhymed and were funny.

Visiting Author Des Hunt

Today the Year 4 students attended a fabulous presentation by NZ children's author Des Hunt. Des writes chapter books. We were introduced to Poofy his cat and Pukoo his beagle. Des used exciting science experiments to explain how he became a successful author and how to write a story.
